Elvis Presley Charms Audience with Playful Performance of “Love Me” in 1970.

During a live performance in Las Vegas in 1970, Elvis Presley interacted with the audience while singing “Love Me,” a song he had first recorded in 1956. In the middle of the song, Elvis noticed a woman in the audience who seemed to be trying to get his attention. He stopped singing and asked her what she wanted. She replied, “I love you, Elvis.” Elvis responded, “I love you, too,” and then continued singing the song.

Throughout the performance, Elvis engaged with the audience, making jokes and teasing his fans in a playful manner.

He also showed off his famous dance moves, gyrating his hips and swiveling his feet to the rhythm of the music. The audience cheered and screamed, clearly enjoying the show.

As he sang the final lines of the song, Elvis held out his microphone to the audience, inviting them to sing along with him. They responded enthusiastically, singing the refrain of “Love Me” in unison with the King of Rock and Roll. The performance ended with Elvis bowing to the audience and blowing them a kiss before leaving the stage to thunderous applause.
